Not all cracks are equal. A hairline plaster crack is cosmetic. A diagonal crack across a wall, or a crack at a beam-column junction, can be a structural warning sign. We diagnose which type you are dealing with before recommending any repair.
For structural cracks, we use epoxy injection grouting to restore load-bearing continuity, in some cases combined with structural strengthening if the crack indicates an underlying capacity issue. For non-structural cracks, we use appropriate sealants and polyurethane foam to prevent water ingress and further widening.
Every crack repair is preceded by an assessment of why the crack formed: foundation settlement, thermal movement, or original construction defects, because filling a crack without understanding its cause is a temporary fix at best.
Structural cracks are typically wider than 3mm, run diagonally, or appear at beam-column junctions and tend to grow over time. If you are unsure, our engineer can assess it during a site visit.
Not if the root cause has been correctly diagnosed and addressed. Crack recurrence almost always means the underlying cause, not the crack itself, was not resolved.
